Estate at Voutakos, Paros The estate at Voutakos, on the island of Paros consists of two adjacent parcels of land of 36.00 m2 and 12.500m2. Τhe total area of the estate is 48.500 m2 The land were part of the original property of 120.000m2 that was divided in 1989 The subdivision and sale were made possible due to the legally mandated frontage to the country road. Sometime before the subdivision, the original house, dating to the1920ies and its subsequent additions, which were in eventual violation of the building code, were made fully compliant with existing law. The house now consists of 168m2. In 2020, within the parcel of land of 35.600m2, and after obtaining a legal building permit, was constructed a stone building of 80m2 that serves as agricultural storage space. There is also a small outdoor amphitheater seating 70, with excellent acoustics. The estate has three wells and an artesian well. On property A, the well dating to 1920, that has been legally certified, produces 3m3 per day whereas the well dug in its vicinity in 2015 (with a legal permit) has a daily capacity of 120m3 daily. The third, an artesian well, has a daily capacity of about 25m3 daily. Also, in the vicinity of the house, on property B, there is a well dating to 1964 or ’65, producing 2m3 of water daily. All water on the estate is suitable for agricultural use. The estate has a vineyard of 8.000m2 of the Monemvasia grape variety (5.000m2 and 3.000m2 on properties A and B respectively) and a vineyard of 3.500m2 of the Muscat de Hambourg grape variety. There are also about 600 olive trees, averaging a yield of about 1.200 liters of extra virgin olive oil per annum, and 1000 fig trees. There are also pomegranate trees, pear trees, carobs and an herb garden of 500m2. The plants are watered by an underground water system with central distribution stations housing automatic electrical watering valves. The totality of the electrical cabling of the estate is underground. There are three mains power feeds, two allocated for agricultural use and one for domestic use. The estate, both in its totality and in part, has been certified by the Forestry Administration as not comprising woodland. Cultivation on the estate is implemented by biological agricultural means and has been certified by DIO, the Hellenic accreditation agency for the control and certification of biological products.
